
Founded
by the visionary Mr. Dhanji Natha Zalani in the year of 1950, the company
Zalani Paper Mart initiated the business of buying Packaging waste in all
forms, shapes and sizes. This line of business was endorsed by most of the
Multinational Companies then having the activities in the country. Zalani
Paper Mart can be called the pioneer of the conversation of scrap to usable
by products like writing pads, scribblers, paper plates, paper tubes,
stickers, samples folders, cartons paper and boards of other day to day
stationary and paper items.
The entry of the elder son Mr.Chandrakant Gala (BabuBhai Zalani) in the
business starting at a tender of age 16, (1977), he not only steered the
company to new heights but also managed to expand its line to business into
trading of quality packaging material. The business had extreme potential.
By the passing away of the founder Mr.Dhanji Natha Zalani in the year 1989,
with the adding on of another human asset to this business in the form of
the younger brother Mr.Bhupendra Gala (Munnabhai Zalani), Zalani Paper Mart
became a full fledged Packaging material and Waste products.
Trading house acquiring assets and business assets in the industrial towns
of Baroda. This company not only had enjoyed the patronage of most of Indian
Companies but also had business link with quite few International companies
as well. Like all business, Zalani Paper Mart also saw diversification after
having established the Parent company and making it self sufficient and
profitable.
Established in the year 1996 to provide strategic and product support to
Parent Company, Dhanlaxmi Traders was formed. The new arm saw exclusive
markets being tapped with a product turnover of 300-400 metric tons on its
own stream. Being able to see in the future and being proactive to the
ever-changing needs to the customer, Dhanlaxmi Traders now has set sights of
establishing itself in the International arena. The business plans on the
anvil include setting up of a full-fledged branch in the USA along with
having business associates in the Scandinavian countries.
